Mr. William ‘Bill’ Boyer Fouche, age 70, of Bonifay, Florida passed away January 3, 2009 at his home. He was born April 16, 1938 in Arcola, VA to Julian and Claudia Phillips Fouche. Mr. Fouche is preceded in death by his father, Julian Fouche; two brothers, Gerald Fouche & Dennis Fouche. He is survived by his wife, Robbie Lee Spencer Fouche of Bonifay, FL; mother, Claudia Fouche of Winchester, VA; one son, Robert Wes Fouche of Pensacola, FL; two daughters, Natalie Venero and husband, Mark of Clearwater, FL and Toni Cascino of Clearwater, FL; one step-son, Kelly Goddin and wife, Angie of Westville, FL; one brother, Donald Fouche and wife, Charlene of Atlanta, GA; two sisters, Peggy Smith and husband, Jerry of Winchester, VA and Emily Furr & husband, Ed of WV; one sister-in-law, Jackie Fouche of Crossnore, NC; six grandchildren, Alana Ehrke, Samantha Neitz, Noelle Venero, Louis Cascino, Melissa Coley, Chase Goddin; eight great-grandchildren. Services will by 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at Grace Baptist Church in Ponce de Leon, FL with Rev. Paul Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Campground Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home of Bonifay, FL directing.
Mrs. Betty Marie Hall Stephens, 86, died January 2, 2009. A native of Chipley, Florida, Mrs. Stephens has resided in Gainesville, Georgia for the past 10 years. She was preceded in death by her husband E.L. Stephens. Survivors include her children, Dan and Wanda Stephens of Rogersville, Tennessee, David and Nodya Havice, Gainesville, Georgia and Joe and LeAnne Stephens, Sebring, Florida. Grandchildren: Rebekah Beccue and Judith Brock both of Gainesville, Ga. Tricia Sealy of Winter Haven, Florida and B.J. Stephens of Oralndo, Florida. Great Grandchildren: Curt Beccue, Jenna Brock, Mitch Beccue, Jonah Brock, Joel Brock, Joseph Brock and Ella Beccue. Graveside services will held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 in the Glenwood Cemetery, Chipley, Florida with Brown Funeral Home, Chipley, Florida directing.
Evelyn C. Davidson, 83 Chipley, Florida/Evelyn C. Davidson, 83, of Winter Haven, Fl., went to be with our Lord on Dec. 28, 2008 in the Northwest Florida Community Hospital in Chipley, Fl., as the result of complications after a stroke. She was preceded in death by her husband Fritz Davidson. She is survived by one daughter, Rose Gipson of Chipley, Fl., two grandchildren, Jerry Gipson of Vernon, Fl., and Debra Gipson of Panama City, Fl., two great grandchildren, Samantha Gipson and Stephanie Gipson, both of Vernon: one sister, Doris Overbey of Gulf Breeze, Fl., and numerous nieces, nephews, cousings, and friends. Brown Funderal Home in Chipley, Fl., and Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Winter Haven, Fl., were in charge of handling the arrangements. Viewing was held at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Winter Haven Fl, on Jan. 1, 2008. Graveside services were conducted at the Auburndalae Memorial Park in Auburndale, Fl., on Jan. 02, 2008.
Marguerite (Hudnall) Fielding, 94, of Chipley, Florida passed from this life on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008 in Chipley, Florida. Mrs. Fielding was born on June 2, 1914 in St. Augustine, Florida to Robert L. and Hattie (Salana) Hudnall. She had resided in Chipley, Florida since the 1980’s coming from Hollywood, Florida. Survivors include Two Sons: Marwin Hallford, Fayetteville, Georgia and Gary Hallford, Panama City Beach, Florida. One Daughter: Marlene Fogle, Farburn, Georgia. One Step-Daughter: Carlene Manville, Eaton, Georgia. 8 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Fielding, a daughter, Doris Johns, and a sister, Esther Melvin . Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, Dec. 29, 2008 in the Chapel of Brown Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bobby Pletcher officiating. Interment followed in the Wachob Forest Lawn Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home directing. The Visitation was held one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Wilcox is preceded in death by one daughter, Jesse Raven Wilcox; paternal grandparents, Bert and Janie Wilcox; maternal grandparents, Ralph and Marie Day; father-in-law, Joe Brady Everett. Ora Lee Braxton, 89, of Cottondale, Florida passed from this life on Thursday, December 25, 2008 at Marianna, Florida. Mrs. Braxton was born on October 27, 1919 in Coffee County, Georgia, to Thomas and Mimmie Lee (Tanner) Young. She is survived by One Son: Walter Holland Braxton, Jr. and wife Donna, Grandridge, Florida. Five Daughters: Mary Jean Braxton, Cottondale, Florida, Ann Jeraldine Braxton, Pensacola, Florida, Sadie Elizabeth Braxton, Pensacola, Florida, Alice Faye Tiller and husband Howard, Chipley, Florida. Mr. Michael Joseph Waters, age 59, of Chipley, FL passed away December 23, 2008 at his home. Mr. Waters will be remembered by his hardy laugh and big smile. He was born October 9, 1949 in Grand Junction, CO. He is preceded in death by his parents, Farrell and Eulila Tipping Waters; his wife, Antionette Waters. Mr. Waters is survived by three daughters, April Waters and husband, Satvayan Kosok of Portland, OR, Autumn Waters Garman and husband, Glen of Chipley, FL, Summer Waters and husband, Martin Randall of Phoenix, AZ; two brothers, Tim Waters and Greg Waters; four sisters, Mary Waters-Parks, Debbie Frigo, Michelle Champagne, Patrice Snyder. Mr. Richard David Conibear, age 52, of Bonifay, Florida passed away December 23, 2008 at his home. He was born November 21, 1956 in Lakeland, FL to the late Richard H. and Jo Wintermute Conibear. Mr. Conibear is survived by his wife, JoLea Fewell Conibear of Bonifay, FL; stepdaughter, Niki Lawhan of Sopchoppy, FL; two sisters, Jolinda Session and Ann Roberts both of Lakeland, FL; two grandchildren, Brayden and Parker Lawhon. Mrs. Audrey Lee Rogers, age 62, of Bonifay, FL passed away December 21, 2008 at Doctors Memorial Hospital in Bonifay. She was born October 13, 1946 in Bonifay, Florida. Mrs. Rogers is preceded in death by her father, Monroe Lee; mother, Malzie Garner Lee Whittaker; husband, Lonnie Rogers; stepdaughter, Baby Rogers. Pansy Mae Hayes, 92, of Graceville, Florida passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at North Florida Community Hospital. She was born November 6, 1916 in Cottondale, Fl to William M. Christmas and Vianna Kittrell. Mrs. Hayes was a homemaker. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Mrs. Hayes was preceded in death by her husband Grover Lee Hayes and one daughter: Quida Atkinson. She was survived by Jackie Hayes and wife Wanda of Nashville, Tenn. One daughter: Angela and husband Byron Richter of Graceville, Fl, one brother: G. D. Yon and wife Frances of Marianna, Fl, four grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Services will be held 11:00a.m. Monday, December 22,2008 at Lovewood Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Henry Matthews officiating. Interment will follow at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, donations will be made to Lovewood Freewill Baptist Church.
David Wyatt Kelley Sr., passed from this life on December 15, 2008 at the Washington County Rehab and nursing in Chipley Mr Kelley was a life long resident of Washington County and of the Southern Baptist faith . Irma Pennington, 91, of Chipley, Florida passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2008 Washington Rehab and Nursing Home. She was born April 28, 1917 in Wausau, Fl to Robert E. Simmons and Fannie Jones. Mrs. Pennington was a Seamstress at Holmes Factory. She was of the Methodist Faith and a member of the Wausau United Methodist. Mrs. Pennington was a lifelong resident of Chipley, Fl and a member of the Eastern Star. She preceded in death by her husband Oscar Pennington, two sons: Lamar and Virgil Pennington. She was survived by one son: Jimmy Pennington and wife Alice of Green Cove Springs, Fl, two brothers: Grant Simmons of Marianna, Fl, and Rev. Elton Simmons of Lakeland, Fl, two grandchildren: Jimmy Jr. Pennington and Kevin Pennington. Services will be held 10:00a.m. Friday, December 19, 2008 at Wausau United Methodist Church with Rev. Troy Lee Walsingham and Rev. Dalton Ott officiating. Interment will follow at Wausau Memorial Garden with Brown Funeral Home directing. James (Buck) R. Owens, age 63, passed from this life Friday, November 28, 2008 at his home. He was born in South Port, Fl. on August 25, 1945 to James and Leana (Quick) Owens. Mr. Owens worked as a logger for Bernie Finch and has lived here for the past 12 years coming from South Port, Fl. He was a member of the Wausau Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mr. Owens was survived by his 4 sons, James Owens, Mark Owens, David Owens, and Michael Owens. 2 Daughters, Ranee Owens and Michelle Owens. 3 sisters, Willie Douglas, Doris Mastro, and Margaret Bilek, and several grandchildren. Funeral services were held 11am Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Wausau Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. James Bardwhick officiating. Terence John Ruddy Jr., 74, of Chipley, Florida passed away Sunday, December 14, 2008 at Gulf Coast Medical Center. He was born October 1, 1934 in Jersey City, New Jersey to Terence Ruddy Sr. and Josephine McQuigan. He lived in Chipley, Florida for 13 years coming from New Jersey. He worked with Jersey City Fire Department and a Korean War veteran in the U.S. Army. Mr. Ruddy was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a member of the retired Benevolence committee. And served 25 years Jersey City Fire Dept., retired as Captain and was a E.O.D. Specialist. He was survived by his wife Veronica Ruddy, one son: Terence Patrick Ruddy III of Chrystal Lake, Fl., two daughters: Maureen Destesano of Bayonne, New Jersey and Erin Manberk of Crestview, Fl and one Brother: Thomas Ruddy. Services will be held 11:00a.m. Thursday, December 18, 2008 at St Joseph Catholic Church with Father Sean Knox officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Sunny Hills Florida with Brown Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00a.m.at St Joseph.
Dorothy Worthington, 69, of Chipley, Florida passed away Sunday, December 14, 2008 at Northwest Florida Community Hospital. She was born July 5, 1939 in Chipley, Fl. to Willis J. Smith and Nettie Toole. She worked for her self in child care. Mrs. Worthington has lived here 25 years coming from Chattahoochee, Fl. She was of the Assembly of God faith and a member of the Grace Assembly of God in Chipley Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents Willis and Nettie Smith. She was survived by two sons: William and wife Denise Worthington of Grandridge, Fl and Edward and wife Kristi Worthington of Milton, Fl, one brother: Wallace Smith of Tallahassee, Fl. five sisters: Dale Bagdonas of Danville, Ca., Mary Dornan of Chipley, Fl, Margaret Hicks of Milton, Fl, Delora Haddan of Chipley, Fl, and Debbie Williams of Milton, Fl, and seven grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Service’s will be held 2:00p.m. Thursday, December 18, 2008 at Grace Assembly in Chipley, Fl with Rev. Dallas Pettis and Rev. Juno Douglas officiating. Interment will follow at Piney Grove Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday night at Brickyard Road Chapel.

Mrs Crutchfield was born on June 15, 1931 in Graceville, Florida to William Thomas and Victoria (Jones) Cook. She was of the Methodist Faith and a member of the Salem Methodist Church. Michael R. Strickland Jr. age 37 of Chipley passed from this life on December 8 2008 Michael was born on August 23rd 1971 in Dothan Alabama to Michael and Linda Tucker Strickland he has resided all his life in Washington County he worked in many construction jobs his last being at the Lewis Bear company in Ebro Fla. Michael is a member of the Blue Lake Baptist Church. Survivors include his mother and her husband Linda carol and Sam Hagan of Chipley his grandmother Marilyn Strickland one brother Jeffrey and wife Wendy, of Chipley one Sister Katrina and husband Blake Barfield of Wausau, Fla. two nephews Tucker and Elliott Barfield of Wausau he is also survived by numerous Uncles and Aunts. He is Preceded in death by his Dad Michael R. Strickland Sr. and his grandfather Albert Strickland and also Grandparents Ralph and Louise Tucker. Funeral services will be held Thursday Dec. 11 at 2; 00 P. M. at Blue Lake Baptist Church with Rev. Anna F. Dailey, 77, of Chipley, Florida passed from this life on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 in Chipley, Florida. Mrs. Dailey was born June 13, 1931 in Columbus, Ohio to Floyd and Virgu L. (Hall) Walls. She is preceded in death by her husband James M. Dailey , a son James A. Dailey and a daughter Karen Lee Dailey. Survivors are Two Sons: Kenneth R. Dailey, Panama City, Fl. and Stephen B. Dailey, Chipley, Florida. One Daughter: Teri Holcomb, Chipley, Florida. 6 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. Margaret Peak, 70, of Chipley, Florida passed from this life on Friday, Dec. 5, 2008 in Chipley, Florida. Mrs. Peak was born on March 22, 1938 in Albany, Georgia to Geroge and Rozell Barfield. She was preceded in death by her husband James Peak and a brother George Barfield. Survivors include the Father of her children Willie B. Barfield, Albany, Gerogia. She was born January 21, 1921 in Black, AL to James Noah and Luneta Quattlebaum Kirkland. Mrs. Johnson is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Stratten Johnson, Sr.; two sons, Stratton ‘Junior’ Johnson, Jr. and Jerry Johnson Sr.; one daughter, Katie Yates; three brothers, Dewey Kirkland, James ‘Buzz’ Kirkland, Ray Kirkland. Boyd Joiner, 84, passed away at his home Sunday, November 30, 2008. He was born February 6, 1924 in Skipper Ville, Alabama to Andy Joiner and Susie Roberts. Mr. Joiner was a welder by trade and has lived in Chipley since 1932 coming here from Alabama. He is of the Pentecostal faith and a member of the Faith Covenant Church. Mrs. Doris Champion Pitts, age 70, of Bonifay, Florida passed away November 27, 2008 at her home. She was born February 7, 1938 in Geneva, Alabama to the late Barney and Annie Burton Stuckey Worthey. Mrs. Pitts is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Dwight Williams; one granddaughter, Crystal Vrooman. Mrs. Eula Lee Ross Barden, age 90, of Bonifay, Florida passed away November 23, 2008 at Bonifay Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born March 26, 1918 in Bonifay, Florida to Jesse Victor and Martha Elizabeth Carson Ross. Mrs. Barden was the valedictorian of the Holmes County High School Class of 1936. She was a member of First Baptist Church Bonifay since 1933 where she served many years as church clerk and was very active in the WMU. She was co-owner of Evans of Bonifay. She was a member of the Bonifay Garden Club and was chairman for the Bonifay City Cemetery from 1992 to 2007. She also volunteered with the American Red Cross. Mrs. Barden is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Wade Ross and Roland Ross; two sisters, Mae Stokes and Edith Hagans. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Maston Barden of Bonifay, FL; two brothers-in-law, Millard Barden and wife, Lucile of Union Grove, AL and Claude Barden and wife, Suzanne of Lexington, SC; two sisters-in-law, Anne Whitehurst and husband, Lonnie of Columbus, GA and Grace Atkinson of Tallahassee, FL; ten nieces and nephews; numerous great nieces and nephews and numerous great-great nieces and nephews. Betty Jean Johnson Brock, 82, of Chipley, Florida, passed from this life on Saturday, November 8, 2008. She was born April 6, 1926 in Cottondale, Florida, the youngest of nine children born to Angus O. Johnson, Sr. and Emma Cutchens Johnson. She graduated from Cottondale High School in 1945 and owned and operated Betty’s Flowers in Chipley for many years. She was a Baptist by faith and a member of the New Orange Baptist Church. She was preceded by her parents, 5 brothers and 2 sisters, a daughter, Carole Hawk and her husband Kenneth Hawk, and son-in-law, James Rogers. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Rev. Alcus R. Brock, one daughter, Yvonne Carmichael and husband Earl, one son, David Brock and wife Trish, all of Chipley, Fl., one sister, Eula Mae Dilmore of Gulf Breeze, Fl. 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
