Chipley, FL (November 27, 2009)—Start your holiday season with an evening of laughter as the Spanish Trail Playhouse presents A Tuna Christmas on Saturday, December 5 and Monday, December 7, 2009 at 7pm nightly at the Historic Chipley High School Auditorium at 680 Second Street in Chipley. A Tuna Christmas is a total delight for all seasons with all 22 characters portrayed by Garrett Brolund and Kevin Russell, two quick changing comedians.
It's Christmas in the third smallest town in Texas. Radio station OKKK news personalities Thurston Wheelis and Arles Struvie report on various Yuletide activities, including hot competition in the annual lawn display contest. In other news, voracious Joe Bob Lipsey's production of "A Christmas Carol" is jeopardized by unpaid electric bills. Many colorful Tuna citizens join in the holiday fun. Join us in the hilarity as the Spanish Trail Playhouse presents A TUNA CHRISTMAS!
Tickets are $10 each for general admission and are not included in Season 2 or 3 Sponsorship packages or season tickets. Tickets are available at the Washington County Chamber of Commerce located at 672 5th Street in Chipley. You may reach the Chamber at (850) 638-4157. Tickets are also available from any Spanish Trail Playhouse Board Member. Due to the subject matter of this production, children under 5 are not encouraged to attend.
