From striking landscapes and beach scenes to tranquil drawings of historic home places in  and around Jackson County the new Art in Public Places Winter Exhibit  at Jackson Hospital has something for everyone to enjoy. The  exhibit  runs until early spring and features 36 pieces of art by 15  regional artists . 

 

     Artists participating in the current  exhibit are from Chipley, Vernon,  Blountstown,  Marianna, Altha, Grand Ridge,  and Headland, AL  include:  Sherry O'Connor, Berit Jackson, Don Sullivan, Barbara Revell, Beverly Cox, Lois Jones, Carol Yoder, Anna Gitana Layton, Nancy Zurenda, Sharon Ray, Debra Pelc Menacof, Michele Tabor Kimbrough, Karen Roland, Ellen Morris, and Jana Hill. 

    Art in Public Places  is one of the many regional programs sponsored by The Artists Guild of Northwest Florida, Inc. (TAG) a Jackson county based art organization with over 60 members from throughout the region. 

  Barbara Revell, TAG Secretary, Nancy Zurenda, TAG Vice-President and Exhibit Chair  and  past president, Judy Brooten assisted with the check in and installation of art on Nov 18, 2009.
    "Our organization is  very fortunate to be in partnership with Jackson Hospital and the Jackson Hospital Auxiliary (Pink Ladies).  It is always a pleasure to work with these organizations," stated Nancy Zurenda, TAG Vice-President and chair of the Jackson Hospital  Art in Public Places  program.
