Panama City Fl- The following are the results of the Joint Alabama / Florida Highway Patrol Roadside Sobriety Safety Checkpoint that was held on US 231 (SR 75) on the evening of July 31, 2009 from 8:00 pm to 12:00 am.This checkpoint was part of the joint Take Back Our Highways initiative that was conducted the week of July 27th through July 31st.

The following agencies participated in the checkpoint, the Alabama Highway Patrol, Florida Highway Patrol, Florida Department of Transportation-Motor Carrier Compliance, Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Cottondale Police Department and the Houston County Sheriff’s Office (Alabama).

 

The Florida Department of Transportation provided for the maintenance of traffic safety and warning devices during the checkpoint.
