I gotta agree with you Cat, the city should be commended and the County should take note. Nobody wants to keep looking at a pile of garbage or trash in their neighbors yard. I'm tired of seeing old refrigerators, washers, dryers, toilets and the like sitting out in someones yard. Landowners ARE allowed to do what they please with their land...as long as it's within the guidelines of the law. If you don't like the law, work to change it! In the meantime, break the law, get a ticket and a fine!

I do not agree with this code enforcement garbage. Once again, people are being told what they can and can't do with their private property. An individual should have the right to do what they please with their own land even if it may be an "eyesore" to their neighbors. Build a privacy fence if your neighbor's yard offends you, dont call the "yard nazi" to go around harassing landowners.

The city is to be commended for having Code Enforcement and Jim Lassiter to enforce the policies. I really wish the county would do the same.
